She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert J. Kurtz and Catherine Kurtz (Wood); and her brother Robert J. Kurtz. She is survived by: her children, G. James Petersen (Dedre) of Sandusky, JoAnne Vollmar (Thomas) of Fremont, Dennis Petersen (Jeri) of Sandusky and Brian Petersen (Rhonda) of Sandusky; her grandson Justin Leech (Courtney) of Taunton, Massachusetts; and her siblings, Norman Kurtz (Nancy), Katherine Cornelious (Terry), David Kurtz (Eileene), Rolland Kurtz (Rose), Nancy Casey (Timothy), Patricia Lewis (Mark) and Carol Beatty (Edward). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
