He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Riedy and Louise Riedy (Kelley); and his siblings, Raymond, Joseph, Helen Wagner and Marion Webber.

He is survived by: his wife Gail Riedy (Granfield); his children, Jim Riedy (Debbie) of Bonita Springs, FL, Dean (Jackie) of Sandusky and Nancy Martin of Sandusky; his grandchildren, Hannah Shelestak (John), Kelley Riedy (Cayley Gubser), Jacob (Kate Barman) and Thomas Riedy (Taylor); and his great grandchildren, Reid and Cora Shelestak. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
