She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Hansen and Mabel Hansen (Bordner); her son Glen M. Gilbert; and her siblings, Charles, Howard, Cecil, Arthur Hansen, Marjorie Hansen, Pauline Joseph and Marilyn McClain.
She is survived by: her sons, Brian S. Gilbert (Tina) of Sandusky and Todd A. Gilbert (Molly) of Huron; her grandchildren, Skylar, Meadow, Kate Gilbert, Max King (Nina) and Jacob King; her great grandchildren, Valley and Romeo King; and her sisters, Iola Debolt and Carolyn Thiede. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory (1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
