He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Shade and Earle Shade; his sister Linda; his niece Delia; and his girlfriend Catherine.
He is survived by: his siblings, Donna, Gary and Anita. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and two grandchildren.
