Gregory James Matter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 26, 2025, at the age of 62, Gregory James Matter of Sandusky, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Katherine Fitz Maloney; and his grandparents, Delbert, Claudine Fitz, Norbert and Marion Boose.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeremy Matter (Courtney) and Shane Matter; his stepson Seth Spring; his father James Guy Matter (Mimi); his sisters, Laura Smith (Tim) and Dana Furmanek; and his stepfather Jim Maloney. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Castalia Cemetery (407 Bardwell Rd, Castalia, OH 44824).
