He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Pruitt (Krause); his children, Cynthia Porter (Ronald) of Sandusky, David Pruitt of Sandusky, Cheryl Didion (John Jr.) of Sandusky, Deborah Buettner (Brian) of Sandusky, Dennis Pruitt of Sandusky and Valerie Pruitt (Lisa) of Sandusky; his grandchildren, Michael Porter, Kimberly Pool, Amanda Ponik (Matt), Brian Pruitt, Bradley Pruitt (Exie), Adam Sommers and Faith Fultz; his great grandchildren, Aivah, Jordan, Kyrstin, Arianna, Hope, Archer, Allen and Brooklyn; his siblings, Candy Sue Sullivan and Gary Pruitt (Robin); and his siblings-in-law, Delores Krause and Cecil Barrett. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Toft Funeral Home & Crematory (2001 Columbus Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
