She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Leo and Luella Theresa Pohlman (Kroeger); her stepmother Lucille Pohlman (Tremper); her husband Raymond A. "Ray" Ruffing; her children, Roger R. Ruffing and Janine M. Korte; and her siblings, Herman Pohlman and Mary Ann Booth.
She is survived by: her family Cleveland Indians; her daughter Joyce A. Sehlmeyer of Sandusky; her grandchildren, Jason Sehlmeyer (Cindy), Royalton, Jessica Sehlmeyer of Sandusky, Jodi Satterfield (Michael) of Willards, MD and Ashlee Norrup (Daniel) of Huron; her great grandchildren, Cohen Nemitz, Madelynne Satterfield, Payson Sehlmeyer, Emily Sehlmeyer and Kinzie Norrup; her brother David Pohlman (Dolores); and her sister-in-law Arlene Pohlman of Columbus, OH. She is also survived by her grandchildren and other family members.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the David F. Koch Funeral & Cremation Services (520 Columbus Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (429 Central Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870).
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to the St. Mary's Central Catholic High School Tuition Fund or the Central Catholic Athletic Boosters, 410 W. Jefferson Street, Sandusky, OH 44870 or to Stein Hospice Service, Inc., 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
