He was predeceased by: his parents, David Taylor and Virginia Taylor; and his grandparents, Julius, Janie Taylor, Verda and Carrie Turner.

He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Jerry Taylor, Jr. (Milan) of Columbus, OH, Jerron Taylor and Dayonna Taylor of Green, OH; and his siblings, Charles Taylor (Sheila) of Sandusky, John Taylor of Sandusky and Dollie Hopkins Edmon (Dannie) of Sandusky. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
