He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Beckman and Marilyn Beckman. He is survived by: his siblings, Marcia (John Collart) and David (Nick Wise); his daughter Jessica; and his siblings' children, Jennifer and Brian.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Edison High School Music Department, a place that helped nurture John's lifelong love of music.
