He was predeceased by: his parents, Detsy Erne and Andy Erne; and his siblings, Bill Erne, Jane Erne, Jim Erne and Joan Blade.
He is survived by: his wife Dayle Erne; his daughters, Jocelyn Erne and Janelle Bronish (Chris); and his siblings, BeAnne Petrick and Tom Erne (Debbie). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
