Though Karen may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Curry and Randy Curry (Crum). She is survived by: her husband Delbert "Dean" Slater; her children, Keli McCan (Drew), Brenton Slater (Kristin) of Sandusky, Bret Slater (Terri) and Randy Slater of Sandusky; and her brother Leslie Talbot. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Karen was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Zonta International and was a volunteer with the Zion Church Council, American Cancer Society and the American Red Cross.
