He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Yeckle and Lydia Yeckle (Ghrulke); his wife Molly Jean Yeckley (Wilke); and his sisters, Marion Hurst, Florence Fitz and Dorothy.
He is survived by: his son Alexander John Yeckley of Castalia; and his granddaughters, Lydia Catherine Yeckley of Camarillo, CA, Cecilia Lily Yeckley of Perrysburg, OH and Jacquelyn Rose Yeckley of Castalia.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory (1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Leroy's memory are encouraged to make donations to the charity of their preference.
