He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward M. Ardner and Rose S. Ardner (Yost); his wife Lois A.; his son David Ardner; his stepson William "Buzz" Busdicker; and his great grandchild Ozzie Hersh.
He is survived by: his daughter Debra Ann Weber (Don) of Huron; his stepdaughters, Becky Brown (Tim) of Sandusky and Beth Busdicker of Sandusky; and his stepdaughter-in-law Heidi Busdicker of Milan. He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren: 5 great-grandchildren; 9 step-grandchildren; and 19 step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (503 Columbus Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family suggest that memorial contributions be made in his memory to Zion Lutheran Church, 503 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky, OH 44870 or to Stein Hospice Service, Inc., 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
