With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lois Vaccaro of Sandusky, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lois left this world on September 9, 2025 at the age of 70, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles T. Decker and Lois M. Decker (Wylie); her sons, Matthew Vaccaro and Danny Vaccaro; and her siblings, Larry Decker and Kathy Risenburg.
She is survived by: her husband Dan Vaccaro; her children, Paul Vaccaro (Lindsay), Patrick Vaccaro, Drew Vaccaro (Heidi) and Adrienne Vaccaro; her daughter-in-law Kim Vaccaro; and her grandchildren, Logan, Emily, Caleb, Dani, Dylan, Colton, Chase and Christian. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory (1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870). A prayer was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Angel's Catholic Church (428 Tiffin Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870).
