We are sad to announce that, on December 26, 2022, at the age of 89, Margherita Terranova of Sandusky, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michele Sortino and Pasqualina Sortino (Caruso); her husband Giovanni "John" Terranova; and her brother John Sortino. She is survived by: her children, Lena Spadaro (George) of Sandusky, Josie Angelo (Dan) of Sandusky and Peter Terranova (Teresa) of Hilliard, OH; her grandchildren, Celia Carbo (Mike), Katy Angelo, Marco Spadaro (Kaitlin), Christian Angelo (Shelby), Elisabeth Palella (Nick), Giselle Spadaro, Eric, Michael and William Terranova; her great grandchildren, Giuliana, Giorgio Spadaro and Emery Angelo; and her siblings, Giovanna Ruta, George Sortino (Nancy) and James Sortino (Rosaria). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 510 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky, OH 44870 or to Stein Hospice Service, Inc., 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
