We announce the death of Martha Ann Hoover of Sandusky, Ohio, who passed away on June 9, 2026, at the age of 88. Martha Ann will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Johnson and Lucille Johnson (Mooney); her daughters, Karen Runion and Laurie Dupler; and her grandson Anthony Dia.
She is survived by: her children, Gloria Traxler (Tim) of Sandusky, Connie Jenkins (Bob) of Willowwood, OH and Frank Hoover of Elmore; her grandchildren, Samantha Piepenbrok (Michael), Melissa Goble (Dave), Bobby Jenkins Jr. (Misty), Paul Dupler Jr. (Lauren), Jesse Hoover (Marie), Danielle Reynolds (Bradley), Zane Hoover, Mercedes Hoover, Jayme Dia and Layla Dia (Mara); her siblings, Betty Megill, Roselee Johnson, Dolly Silverwood, Dorothy Schrolucke and Carl Johnson; her sons-in-law, Bill Runion and Paul Dupler Sr.; and her siblings, Jim, Larry, Donnie Johnson and Amelia Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials take the form of contributions to: Elmore Church of God or Stein Hospice.
