He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Marie; his children, Stacey Brown of Toledo Ohio, Chris Hodgkinson (Jeannie) of Sandusky, OH, Gary Alexander (Camilla) of Sandusky, OH, David Pickens (Tracey) of Sandusky, OH, Marcus Pickens (Michelle) of Sandusky, OH, Melvin Pickens Jr. and Marica Carter of Elyria, OH; his siblings, Dorothy Gentry (Pickens) of Sandusky, OH, Dewana Pickens-McSalters of Jacksonville, FL, Angela Pickens of Toledo, OH, James, Delbert Pickens Sandusky of Ohio and Danny Pickens of Columbus, OH.; his aunts, Clora Pickens of Waynesboro, MS, Ruby Coleman (Joseph) of Waynesboro, MS, Hattie McDonald of Waynesboro, MS and Winnie Johnson (Randy) of Iowa; and his sisters-in-law, Peggy Battle (Willie), Jean Heston (Thomas), Deborah Taylor, Tammy Jones and Lizzie Taylor.
