With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael J. Daniel (Sandusky, Ohio), who passed away on December 18, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Robert J Daniel; his brother Pete Daniel; his parents-in-law, Jack and Barb Schock; and his grandparents, Pierre, Eleanor Gerold, Cyril and Eleanor Daniel.
He is survived by: his mother Jane Eleanor Daniel (Gerold); his wife Suzanne Daniel (Schock) of Sandusky; his daughter Kayla Daniel (Austin Murphy) of Delaware, Ohio; his siblings, Susan Daniel (Gerold), Patricia Dawson (Daniel), Columbus, Mark Daniel (Lisa) and Andrew Daniel; his nieces and nephews, Kelly Dawson, Sarah Zapata (David), Lauren Beltramo (David), Matt Daniel, Darcy Session (Sloan), Nicholas Schock (Ashley), Heather Szymczak (Craig) and Anthony Schock (Abby); and his sisters, Mary Daniel and Kelly Schock (Jo).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in his memory to the Foundation for Firelands Cancer Program, 1111 Hayes Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870, to support others in their fight against cancer.
