It is with sadness that the passing of Michael Sweeney of Sandusky, Ohio is shared. Michael, born on September 29, 1943, passed away on July 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Michael will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Michael by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward F. Sweeney and Dorothy A. Sweeney (Nihill); his brother Richard E. Sweeney; and his sister-in-law Margaret Sweeney. He is survived by: his siblings, Dorothy Ann Richards (Bob) of Rocky River and John F. Sweeney of Olmsted Falls. He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews and several cousins.
