In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Nicole leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Nicole may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

She was predeceased by: her former husband Brian McCarthy. She is survived by: her parents, Daniel Smith and Maryann Durso; her children, Kyle McCarthy, Gavin LaMarca and Nolan Schmidt; her siblings, Angie Best, Billy Smith, Aaron Smith and Danielle Ortiz (Jeremy); and her boyfriend Johnny Whyde. She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews; one great-niece.
