She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Shelby and Marguerite Shelby; her husband Ernest A. "Ernie" Windnagle; her daughters, Julie Ann Windnagle and Renee Michaels; her brother Thomas Shelby; and her stepparents, Lester and Lenore Syrstad.
She is survived by: her sons, Daniel Windnagle (Sally) of Scottsdale, AZ and Christopher Windnagle (Deanna) of Kodiak, AK; her grandchildren, Lisa Alexander (Steve) of Graceton, PA, Christopher (Julie), Katherine Windnagle, Emily Cairns (Brent), Caitlin Michaels, Heather Shields (Kenny), Matthew Windnagle (Leah), Megan Windnagle, Allie and Julieann Alexander; and her great grandchildren, Willow, Zachary, Kenneth, Brandyn, Charlie, Christopher, Molly, Jacob and Kolt. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the David F. Koch Funeral & Cremation Services (520 Columbus Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870). A prayer was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 9:40 AM at the David F. Koch Funeral Home (520 Columbus Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church (510 Columbus Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870).
