He was predeceased by: his father Richard A. Cline. He is survived by: his wife Connie Cline (Sternberg); his daughter Kelly Gerber; his grandchildren, Cordell James Gerber and Kida Ann David; his mother Wilma Cline (Lowe); and his brothers, Robert Cline (Sylvia) and Jeff Cline (Jeannine). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.

Memorials may be made to Stein Hospice Services, Admiral's Pointe Nursing and Rehab, and to Perkins Township Fire Department.
