He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Ann Pischel; and his wife Cheryl I. Kessler (Kadow). He is survived by: his children, Lawrence A. "Larry" Kessler of Melbourne, FL, Vincent P. Kessler (Jennifer) of Norwalk and Christina I. Sullivan (David) of Norwalk; his grandchildren, Kyla M., Vincent A. Kessler and Cynthia I Sullivan; and his sisters-in-law, Tina Carpenter (Jim) of Shelby and Rosmary Shockey of Cabot, Arkansas..

Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the David F. Koch Funeral & Cremation Services (520 Columbus Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
