She was predeceased by: her parents, Dayton Jenkins and Thelma Jenkins (Smith); her husband Edward Ackerman; her children, Eric Ackerman and Karen Smercina; her grandchildren, Julie Fischer and Eric Ackerman Jr.; and her sisters, Audrey McPeek (Homer) and Janet Jenkins.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Heiberger (Joel) and Michael Ackerman; and her grandchildren, Rebecca Pruitt (Tom), Edward Ackerman, Joseph Ackerman (Brook), Megan Ackerman (William White), Joshua Ackerman (Bri), Valerie Joseph (Bradley) and Devin Heiberger. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews.
