With sadness, we share the passing of Virginia A. Messenger of Sandusky, Ohio. Virginia, born on December 7, 1946, passed away on September 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Virginia for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Allendorf and Patricia Allendorf (Waldock); her granddaughter Sara Terry; and her brothers, George "Butch" Allendorf and Chuck Allendorf.
She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Lee Messenger; her sons, Hoyle Mitchel Terry, William Charles "Chuckie" Terry and Patrick Howard Parker (Monica); and her stepson James Lee Messenger. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 nieces and 2 nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the American Legion Post 83 (3615 Hayes Ave, Sandusky, OH 44870).
