Bernice Schweickart Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bernice Schweickart of Sardinia, Ohio, born in Maysville, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 7, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Bernice's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Bernice has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her husband Sam Schweickart; her parents, George Seaman and Bertha Seaman; and her sister Gladys Rockey. She is survived by: her son Daryl Schweickart (Nancy); her grandchildren, Machele Clark (Jerry) and Darin Schweickart (Kirsten); and her great grandchild Emma Sue Schweickart.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Ash Ridge Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
