He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Alton Willard and Thelma Hazel Eyre (Shoemaker); his brother Bob; and his siblings-in-law, Cindy Eyre and Bill Knabb.
He is survived by: his wife Melodie Eyre (Stolz) of Sardinia; his son Josh Eyre (Christine) of Bethel; his grandchildren, Rachel Reeves (Talon Lister) of Newport, KY, Thomas Eyre of Mt. Washington and Matthew Eyre of Bethel; and his siblings, Nancy Knabb, Cheryl Jennings, Linda Paeltz (Mark) and Joe Eyre. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
