He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Gindling and Romilda Gindling; his wife Marian Joy Pessler (Nee); his siblings, Marianne Merk and Dan Gindling; and his siblings-in-law, Dugan, Dale, Dick Pessler, Alvin Merk, Esther Gindling and Ruth Pessler.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Gindling (Harriet), Donald Gindling (Beth), Ronald Gindling (Melissa), Patricia Gindling and Susan O'Leary (Tom); his grandchildren, Heather Monnig (Dan), Abby Asman (Zac), Caity Strotman (Nathan), Miranda Gindling, Samantha O'Leary, Shannon O'Leary and Chris O'Leary (Manon); his great grandchildren, Reagan, Jacob Monnig, Elijah, Archie, Otto Asman, William, Callahan, Joy Strotman, Lilah Richardson and Declan O'Leary; and his siblings, Larry Gindling and Betty Kollmann. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Aloysius on the Ohio Church.
