He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward David "Doc" Shumaker and Emma Lillich Gibbs; and his nephew Edward S. Amos. He is survived by: his sibling Abbie Shumaker Amos; his niece Abbie Amos; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Russell and Bradley Golowin of Upper Arlington, Ohio; his nephew R. Clark Amos (Carol); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ashley Clennan and Preston Amos of Ladue; his nephew Marsh Amos of Scio, Ohio.; Carol, Matt Amos (Lauren) of Cincinnati and Elliott Amos (Kari) of Columbus. He is also survived by many friends, neighbors.
