He is survived by: his children, Franklin, Paula and Stella Petty; his stepdaughter Emma Liames; his siblings, Claude, Thomas, Chuck, Wilma Campbell, Wanda Estep, Alberta Groves (Ken), Mary Petty, Martha Gray, Neoma Petty and Paula Petty Mullins (Frank); and his granddaughter Nelani Skye Petty (Matt Manns).
