The passing of Carolyn Jean Carpenter of Seaman, Ohio leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 12, 2025 at the age of 91. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Sentney and Edith Sentney (Sowers); her husband Charles D Carpenter; her son Richard Carpenter; and her siblings, James Sentney, Helen Bruan, Dorothy Oakley, Bonnie Hanson and Debbie Hughes.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Kurtzhals (Quentin) of Carlisle, Ohio and Catherine Baxla (Chris) of Seaman; her brother Joe Sentney (Sharon) of Goshen, Ohio; her close friends, Crystal and Jeremy Basford; and her grandchildren, Amanda, Emily, Hannan, Kelsey and Curt. She is also survived by her nine great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Confidence Cemetery (1040 Mt Orab Pike, Georgetown, OH 45121).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Carolyn's memory to either the Hospice of Hope or to the Wesley Chapel Church of Christ in Christian Union, in Winchester.
