He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard C Zimmerman and Alice Mae Zimmerman (Lewis); his sister Sue Stivers; and his former wife Joyce (Guzi). He is survived by: his wife Virginia Hoskins (Kelley); his children, Tama Simon (Paul), Marianne Coker and David C. Zimmerman, Jr.; and his stepdaughter Julie Rocha (Fernando).
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lewis-Sullivan Chapel of the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Homes (18029 OH-247, Seaman, OH 45679). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Lewis-Sullivan Chapel (18029 OH-247, Seaman, OH 45679). A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at the Mt. Leigh Cemetery (15 Mt Leigh Rd, Seaman, OH 45679).
