We announce the death of Phyllis Geraldine Cooper of Seaman, Ohio, born in Bethel, Ohio, who passed away on September 10, 2026, at the age of 76. Phyllis will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Millard Stacey and Mary "Bootsie" Stacey (Manning); and her siblings, Richard Barnett, Lee Morgan, Jr. and Gwendolyn "Joyce" Allen.
She is survived by: her children, David Cooper of Felicity, Lisa Bondonese of Greenacres, Florida, Belinda Cooper Lynch of Greenacres, Florida, Sherrie Cooper of Stout, Ohio. and Shelley Cooper of Stout, Ohio.; and her siblings, Mark Barnett of Cincinnati, Robert Barnett of Higginsport, Melinda Barnett Clayfield of Monroe, Michigan and Sue Ellen Hall of Shelbyville, Indiana.. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Tranquility Community Church (141 Old State Rte 32, Peebles, OH 45660).
