She was predeceased by: her siblings, Don, Russel, Walter, Charles Swank, Ruth Richard and Crystal Budahazy; her pet Charlie; and her parents, Russel Swank and Kathryn Wortman.
She is survived by: her children, Linda D. Carter of Huntsville, AL, Gary A Carter Jr. (Tracy), Larry A Carter (Amy) of Akron, OH and Jerrimie A Carter of Sebring, OH.; her stepchildren, Donn Carter and Jodie Carter DeVaux; her grandchildren, Jessica, Jedidiah, James, Rachel, Claire, Jacob, Allison, Corrissa, Allen Michael, Tonya, Kamron, Scotty and Linsey; her great grandchildren, Faith, Eleanor, Joshua, Jackson, Colby and Kaitlynn; and her sister Oralee Baker of Beloit Oh. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren and anyone who needed moms.
