She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Sitler and Loretta Halverstadt Sitler; her husband William I. Hecht; her former husband H. Twing Hiscox; her daughter Denise Hiscox Shultz; her sister-in-law Cynthia Hecht; and her son-in-law John Ziegler.
She is survived by: her brother Richard Sitler (Annabelle); her sons, Douglas Hiscox (Linda) and Derek Hiscox (Patty); her son-in-law Dr. Herb Shultz (Cindy); her stepdaughters, Elizabeth Hecht Savoy (Peter) and Kristin Hecht Zeigler; and her brother-in-law Robert Hecht. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Her favorite charity was the Copeland Oaks Foundation at 800 South 15th Street, Sebring, OH 44672.
