He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Prendergast and Louise Prendergast (Coates); and his sisters, Rosemary Merchant and Patricia Hanusz. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Prendergast; and his siblings, Marie Prendergast and Tom Prendergast. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
