It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melva Ann (Stoney) Hall (Senecaville, Ohio), who passed away on January 10, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andy Stoney and Katherine Stoney (Hall); her husband Chester E. Hall; her siblings, Shelba Jean Roller and Paul A. Stoney; and her sons, Gary Hall and Wayne Hall.
She is survived by: her sons, Dwayne Hall (YeVonda), Gene Pointer (Becki), Andy Pointer (Lori) and Robert "Bobby" Pointer (Jamie); her brother William "Bill" Stoney (Sandy); her sister-in-law Janalea Stoney; and her grandchildren, Madison Hall, Kellen Hall (Cara), Jessica Stevens (Justin), Dillon Pointer (Mackenzie), Addie Flinner (Derek), Matthew Pointer (Victoria), Emily Pointer, Thomas Pointer, Parker Pointer, Lindsey Olsen (Luke), Logan Hall, Laura Hall, Bethany Wilde (Jonathon) and Denny Hall. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making donations in Melva's memory to Countryview Assisted Living Center, 62825 County Home Road, Lore City, OH 43755.
