He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Spees and Jessie Spees; and his brothers, Howard and Lawrence Spees. He is survived by: his nieces, Tina Spees, Jodi Spees and Lori Liskey; his great grandchild Parker Feldpusch; his wife Karen; his children, Kevin Spees (Dawn) and Michelle Spees; and his grandchildren, Ashley Stout (Mitchell), Amanda, Anthony Hoskinson, Brittany Spees (Josh), Morgan and Alan Feldpusch.
A burial was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44273).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Dan's memory to SAM'S Center.
