He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank E. Rentsch and Arlene B. Rentsch (Miller); and his siblings, Stanley Rentsch and Marilyn Torgler (Richard). He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Joan Rentsch of Knoxville, TN, Wayne Rentsch (JoEllen) of Charlotte, NC and Joyce Rentsch of Dover; his stepchildren, Don Thacker (Kelly) of Doylestown, OH and Cindy Emch (James) of Troy, MO; his sister-in-law Judy Rentsch of Beach City; and his sibling's children, Ed, Todd Rentsch, Richard Torgler and Cheryl Torgler. He is also survived by 5 step grandchildren; 7 step great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
