He is survived by: his children, Renee Schapel, Jill Hosford (Nicholas) and Randy Schapel (Sharon); his grandchildren, Melissa Marflak (Zach), Lisa Ciehanoski (Jeremy), Lauren Falsone (Joe), Ethan Hosford, Jacob Hosford (Kimberly), Timothy Hosford (Sophia), Andrew Hosford, Katie Hosford, Marcus Hosford, Daniel Schapel and Grace Schapel; his great grandchildren, Loralei Hosford and Elowyn Hosford; his siblings, Dorothy Metz, Richard Schapel, William Schapel (Albina) and Mary Ann Soloway (Greg); and his in-laws, Mary Kay Sovacool (Mike) and Chris Krawczyk (Kim). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
