He was predeceased by: his wife Josephine; and his parents, Earl C. Messenger and Gertrude Messenger. He is survived by: his children, David E. Messenger and Debra L. Passerallo; and his grandchildren, Ryan, Rachel Passerallo and Zachary Messenger (Natalia).
A reception will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Home of South Euclid (4600 Mayfield Rd, South Euclid, OH 44121). A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44273).
