We bid farewell to Anita Powell of Shade, Ohio, born in New Marshfield, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 9, 2025 at the age of 80. Anita touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence H. Dowler and Georgia Maybelle Dowler (Dodd); her siblings, Twila Cable, Dennis L. Dowler, Loretta Dinsmoor and Howard W. Dowler; and her granddaughter Meisha Rae Dickerson.
She is survived by: her husband Chuck; her children, Atina Hillen (Darrell) of New Marshfield, Anthony Mills (Sherry) of Athens, Michele Powell of Shade and Richie Powell of Chesapeake; her granddaughters, Erica Hillen, Amanda Bell (Tyler), Alisha Andrews (Andrew) and Madalyn Dickerson; her great grandchildren, Joseph, Jordan, Zoey, Eden, Hadley, Stella, Wade, Lincoln, Kaycen and Jaxon; her sister Wendelyn "Sue" Porlier; her aunts, Carol Brooks and Bonnie Atkinson; and her caregivers, Bob, Teresa, Mike, Chaplain, Jimmy, Tammy, Trevor, Advocare Representative and Chad.
