Hazel E. Brown Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hazel E. Brown of Shadyside, Ohio, who passed away on June 25, 2025 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Hazel E. Brown to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Christian Kanzigg and Eula M. Kanzigg (Baker); her husband Loren Brown; her sons-in-law, Robert C. Futhey and David G. Knight; and her siblings, Raymond, Lester Kanzigg, Margaret Williams and Eileen Guthrie Delaney.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Futhey Knight and Karen Boyd (Lawrence "Larry"); her grandchildren, Robert P. Futhey (Gina), Sara Knight Henthorn (Curtis), Em Boyd and Nathan Boyd; her great grandchild Henry C. Futhey; and her sisters, Lenora Kocher and Stella Johnson (Clarence). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home (3900 Central Ave, Shadyside, OH 43947). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Holly Memorial Gardens (73360 Pleasant Grove Rd, Colerain, OH 43916).
