Though Virginia Ann may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Zacek and Rose Kapolka Zacek; her husband William Schultz; her stepbrother William Kapolka; and her cousin Stanley Wach.
She is survived by: her sons, Douglas Schultz of Shadyside and Lance Schultz of Columbus; and her stepsister Kathy Kapolka. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory (3900 Central Ave, Shadyside, OH 43947). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Powhatan Cemetery (383 OH-7, Powhatan Point, OH 43942).
