She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Michael Whalen (Kimberly), Jeanne Sterling (Jeffrey), Kathleen Crowley (Wesley), Kristin Whalen (Joseph Petitto) and Patrick Whalen; and her grandchildren, Megan, Maggie, Jack Whalen, James, Ryan Crowley, Paige Sterling and Fischer Sterling.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Schulte & Mahon-Murphy Funeral Home (5252 Mayfield Rd, Lyndhurst, OH 44124). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Dominic (19000 Van Aken Blvd, Shaker Heights, OH 44122).
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions in memory of Adele to Eden Housing Inc., 7812 Madison Ave., Cleveland, OH 44102.
