He was loved and cherished by many people including : his significant other William H. Jones; his children, Robert A. Mitchener and Miriam Mitchener; his brother Larry E. Mitchener; his grandchildren, Jaden, Liam and Ava; and also Judith Claghorn Mitchener.
He was 84years old, and in the late stages of Alzheimer's disease.
