He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Roscoe; his children, Rebecca Thompson (Adam), Patricia Roscoe and Claire Roscoe; his grandson Andrew; his parents, J. David Roscoe and Elaine Roscoe; and his sister Theresa Opfer (David). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

“So utterly speechless and saddened by your tragic loss. Gregory was indeed loved by many people, and he will indeed be missed. He did leave such a positive trace which I hope will comfort you. I was his grade school classmate and met up with him a few years back in Chagrin Falls. He was full of life and happiness! One could feel how dearly he loved his family.
