He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Hoffer Sload and Katharine Harrington Sload; and his brother Jack Harrington Sload. He is survived by : his wife Beverly Sload; his sons, Michael Sload (Tammy) of Darien, CT, David Sload (Carla) of Ratoath, Ireland and Peter Sload (Patti) of Evanston, IL; his sister Judy May of Mount Hood, OR; and his grandchildren, Jeffrey, Amanda, Evelyn, Genevieve, Evan, Hannah, Kate, Jack and Charlie Sload.
