With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph B. Holmes (Shaker Heights, Ohio), who passed away on June 17, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Joseph may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joseph touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sarah Holmes; his daughters, Denise O. Holmes, MD (late Michael E. Moore, MD) of Novelty, OH, Pamela E. Holmes of Summerville, SC and Theresa S. Lockhart (Gregory) of Shaker Hts; and his grandson William J. B. Moore (Nicole) of West Hartford, CT..
