He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. O'Neill and Dorothy Kundtz O'Neill; his son Alec O'Neill; his granddaughter Lillian Arose; his sisters, Dorothy Donahey and Kathleen Dunn; and his brothers-in-law, Jack Donahey, Dan Dunn and George Sweeney.
He is survived by: his children, Sara Salgado (Miguel), Jessie Arose (Edward), Laura Bower (Dennis) and Carolyn Morris; his daughter-in-law Allison O'Neill; his siblings, Molly Sweeney, John Hugh O'Neill (Suzy) and Timothy O'Neill (Cindy); and his grandchildren, Anna, Bess Sullivan, Sebastian Arose, Hugh, Maeve Bower and Muriel Morris.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to University Hospitals of Cleveland or to Catholic Charities.
